Good Evening, Everyone!

Now that we've had a few days to collect ourselves and catch our breath, we wanted to update folks on a few important things. In light of our community and our neighbors to the West dealing with all sorts of setbacks from the hurricane, our focus has shifted towards helping those with pressing needs. Because of that, we know that may hinder two of our ongoing projects:

Community Yard Sale - The Community Yard Sale that was set to operate Saturday, October 24th to raise support for Children in Crisis will be postponed until after the new year given the immediate need for donations to be dispersed to those affected by the hurricane. If you have items you'd like to donate, please hold on to those for the time being. In the meantime, ASF will be sending a donation to Children in Crisis as a way of honoring our commitment to loving & supporting their amazing organization.

Operation Christmas Child - While there's still plenty of time to fill a shoebox to send to children, we understand this may not get the full attention it deserves. ASF will also be sending a donation to Samaritan's Purse in addition to covering the cost of shipment for the boxes. If you're still willing and able, please consider filling a shoebox--we'll have more to share about this in the coming weeks!

If you or someone you know have been affected by the hurricane and you're needing assistance, please let us know so we can do our best to serve or find a way to help.

- ASF

Dear ASF Folks,

As Tropical Storm Isaias looks to make landfall this Friday as a potential Cat-2 hurricane, we know this means preparation time for those along the coast. If you need assistance or you’re looking for help, please let us know so we can do our best to assist. You can reach out to Ronnie or Garet for assistance: [email protected] or [email protected]. It’s always best to be safe and take every precaution.

Stay safe out there, friends!

Good Afternoon, Folks!

A Birmingham family near & dear to one of our own (Mr. Bobby Rains), recently lost their home & belongings to a house fire. We'd like to be a ray of sunshine in their lives during this dark & difficult time. Over the coming weeks, we'd like to ask our folks to collect items for the Gilley family & bring those on Sunday mornings to hand off to Bobby so he can ensure those get to the family.
