Michael Harrison and I need your help! YOU can help us shift the outcome of this decision and save our business doors from closing.

On November 12th, Walton County Commissioners will decide if we will be able to bid to continue the Managed Vendor Program to service beach chairs at the public access points. Shoreline Beach Service has offered friendly, affordable and dependable beach chair service for 11 years.

It’s possible the Walton county commissioners will go with a single vendor to manage all 28 county beach accesses.

-this would put us out of business and 70% of the beach chair vendors on 30a.

-eliminate the free market

-a minimum of $20 increase per beach chair set (2 chairs & 1 umbrella) across the board

-terrible customer service as it would be impossible for one company to handle 65,000 sets annually.

-right now the call volume is handled between 21 companies on 30a. There is no reasonable way for one company to effectively answer questions by phone or email. The volume would be overwhelming.

Please join us and let your voice be heard. Email each county commissioner TODAY and let them know you want to do business with Shoreline Beach Service. You want the right to choose!

I wanted to reach out to you regarding proposed changes to the public beach usage for 30a.

It’s my understanding that the county is considering allowing only one vendor on public beaches. Eliminating the Managed Vendor Program that has done an excellent job for the past 5 years.

We have used Shoreline Beach Service for the last few years. We have enjoyed using them and we appreciate them trying to keep their beach set prices low. We want to have the ability to choose who we use. It’s my understanding prices may increase by $20 a day per set.

The managed vendor program has worked for us. Please allow Shoreline Beach Service to continue to use public beaches.

This will affect us in the following ways .______________________
