October is Pastor Appreciation Month!

This month, we want to take a moment to honor our pastors and elders and thank God for the blessing they are to our Redeemer 30A church family!

We are so grateful for their faithful leadership, their love for God's Word, their servant hearts, and the countless ways they shepherd, encourage, and pray for our church family. Their dedication to sharing the Gospel and pointing others to Christ is such a gift to our church.

Let's take a moment to encourage them!

Parenting Pathway | Upcoming Milestones

Milestone 4
In Milestone 4, Parents of children aged 9-12, attend a seminar where they receive biblical teaching and practical tools to lead their child in the areas of biblical purity, God-honoring s*x, healthy relationships, and identity in Christ. Parents plan a special trip with their child where intentional time is devoted to discipleship in these areas.
Register on the app for this Sunday, November 1st 6-7:45 pm at the church Library. Childcare provided at the B&G Club, in the blue room for ages 1-5th.

MILESTONE 5
Sunday, November 8th, 6-7:30 South Walton Library conference room
Students aged 12-14 and their parents attend a family-equip seminar on biblical manhood and womanhood, which explores the specific roles God intended for men and women. Then over the summer, parents, along with their students, will read and discuss the book Let the Men be Men and Let the Women be Women by Chris Muller, which further explores God’s intention in creating male and female.

This week we walked through Colossians 2:6-15 and confronted a truth that cuts through every carousel of empty promises we chase -relationships, achievements, experiences, religion. Paul's message to the church at Colossae is the same word we need today: we do not need more than Christ. We need more of Christ.

The fullness of God dwells in Him bodily. And because of that, you have been filled in Him. Saved. Secured. Made alive - not improved, not upgraded, but raised from the dead. That is not an add-on to your life. That is the whole thing.

Stop searching for something else to make you whole. True fullness is found in Christ alone.

One of our most loved events is back-Common Table! We'll gather in one another's homes across the community with 6-8 women and share a potluck style dinner!

Our next dinner will be Thursday, October 29 at 6 p.m.! The hope of these dinners will be to build relationships across the generations and seasons of life that ultimately lead to deeper discipleship relationships and friendships in Christ! We'll do our best to place you with some familiar faces and some new!

Your host home will reach out the week before to let you know what side items you could bring!

What is baptism, and why does it matter? Whether you’re new to Christianity, preparing for baptism, or seeking to understand your own baptism more deeply, this class will examine the Bible’s teaching on baptism and what it reveals about salvation and the Christian life.

It is easy to get so busy with things about Jesus that we miss Jesus himself. Studying, serving, teaching — these are good gifts. But Paul's warning to the Colossians is still urgent today: don't be deceived into thinking you need something beyond Christ to find fullness. You don't move past Jesus to mature. You go deeper into Him.

Colossians 2:3 reminds us that all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge are hidden in Christ — not some, all. He is not the starting line. He is the destination.

And we were never meant to treasure Him alone. We need one another to hold fast, to correct, encourage, and remind each other of what is true. That is what the church is for.

Come treasure Jesus with us — personally and together.

We'll be looking at Colossians 2:1-5 and exploring the incredible treasure we have in Christ.

Then join the fun at our Fall Festival at The Chapel at Crosspoint at 4:00 PM. It's going to be a great day for the whole family!

After a storm-filled week, we gathered around one of the most beautiful psalms in all of Scripture: Psalm 16. The question posed was simple but searching -- if God never fixed a single thing in your life, would He still be enough?

David did not treat God as a means to an end. He declared in Psalm 16:2 that he had no good apart from God. Not that God was at the top of the list -- but that there was no list. Every good thing in our lives flows from Him, and without Him, it all collapses.

God is our refuge, our riches, our resurrection, and our rejoicing. As Psalm 16:11 reminds us, in His presence there is fullness of joy, and at His right hand are pleasures forevermore. He is not the means to your joy. He is your joy.

Read Psalm 16 every day this week and ask Him plainly: Lord, make yourself my portion.
