FAITH WITHOUT WORKS IS DEAD… BUT CHRIST IS ALIVE! 🙌
This past Sunday, in our sermon series “James: A Faith That Works,” we looked at James 2:14–26 and were reminded that genuine faith is a living faith that bears fruit!
James challenges us to examine our faith. Are we simply talking about loving our neighbor, or are we actually putting that love into action?
Here's the GOOD NEWS! We are not saved by our good works. We are saved by God's grace through faith in Jesus Christ! And because Christ lives in us, our faith produces fruit.
Our memory verse, Ephesians 2:10, reminds us that we are God's workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works that He prepared beforehand for us to walk in.
Here's your challenge this week: Look for someone God has placed in your path who needs encouragement, a listening ear, forgiveness, or a helping hand.
Remember, we don't do good works to BE saved. We do good works BECAUSE we are saved!
❤️ LOVE GOD. LOVE PEOPLE. AWAKEN HEARTS TO JESUS, EVERY DAY!
