Due to the storm and the golf tournament being postponed, The Silent Auction from the Knights of Columbus has been extended.

Power has been restored! We had 8am Mass this morning and we will have 11am Mass as well.

There will be no CLOW, Faith Formation, or Little Lambs Nursery.

There is a dispensation in effect for those who cannot make it to Mass safely.

As Isaias nears, let us wrap our parish family and community in prayer. It’s natural to feel anxious, but Jesus reminds us in Mark 4:39: “Peace! Be still.”

Put your safety plans in place, check on your neighbors, and place your trust in the Lord. He is our refuge and our strength.

Family of the Month

Each month, the Family of the Month Committee selects one parish family that models Christian family values and visibly lives them every day. Once a year, each participating council also selects one of the previous 12 Family of the Month winners to represent the Council and the Parish as the potential international Family of the Year. The Knights of Columbus Family of the Year is chosen by the Supreme Council and recognized each year at the annual Supreme Convention.

For July 2026 we are proud to announce the Family of Jeff and Reggie Ricketts as our Family of the Month.

Jeff and Reggie reflect a very active and prayerful Catholic Family. They are integrated deeply into Parish ministries and exemplify the ideal Catholic Family.

Jeff currently holds the officer position of Warden and has been in the Knights of Columbus for five years. Also, Jeff is the Director of our yearly Coats for Kids event supplying coats to needy parents and their children in conjunction with Caring & Sharing of S. Walton.

Jeff is a member and very involved in St Vincent De Paul serving Walton County.

Reggie leads while Jeff assists in the Sunday Nursing Home Communion Ministry.

Jeff and Reggie host and lead a Couples Bible Study on Mondays. They both faithfully serve as Eucharistic Ministers during the week.

Our parish community has been very blessed by this couple for some time now.

Please help us recognize and thank the Ricketts family for all they do within our faith, parish and family life here at Saint Rita Catholic Church. They encourage and invite all members of the Parish family to join them in any of the Ministries they serve.
