Donations for the Parish Picnic Basket Raffle on August 2 will be gratefully accepted. It's not too soon to consider some creative ideas in putting together a basket or two. Donations can be brought to the Administrative Office of Christ the King Parish located at Saint Joseph Church.

Christ the King Parish's Saint Vincent de Paul food pantry is grateful to the students of Shady Side Academy's Creative Writing Club who donated funds to the pantry to help local families in need.

Meredith Troyan (our Youth Minister), 4 other Youth Ministers from the Diocese, the Director of Youth Ministry for the Diocese of Pittsburgh, Father Michael Roche from Christ the Divine Shepherd (Penn Hills/ Pitcairn/Monroeville) and core team members spent the week in Phoenix, Arizona at the Lifeteen Conference. It was a week full of networking, prayer, talks and some much needed sunshine.

Meredith comes back to the Parish with a new vision for Youth Ministry. She is now seeking several core team members of her own that want to help lead teens closer to Christ. Please contact her if you are interested. Must be at least 21 to assist.

This Sunday is the Solemnity of Corpus Christi. What better time to spend an hour before the Blessed Sarament to think and pray, to meditate, and worship! Please join with other members of the parish for our monthly holy hour this Thursday evening, June 4, from 6:30-7:30 in Saint Scholastica Church in Aspinwall.
