The deacons are looking for new volunteers for the hospital visitation ministry. We meet one Sunday a month after the 11AM service to visit those patients assigned to us. When we visit each of these patients we offer prayer, if they are receptive, and share the gospel when the Spirit leads. Family members are sometimes present and are also receptive to our visits.

You don’t need to be a deacon to volunteer. You do need to be a Christian believer with a willingness to be used by God and you will need to complete the UPMC volunteer onboarding process. If you are interested in becoming a hospital visitation volunteer please reach out to us individually or by emailing the deacons at [email protected].
