We are told that after Jesus was resurrected
and then ascended to heaven, His disciples spent a lot of their time “praising God.”
What does this mean, and what did it look like? What if our call to “praise God” is not
something that we should be doing in private, but rather, it should be in public? What if
our call is to challenge the people of our community to “Think about Jesus”?

Hebrews 11 is a
good chapter for Memorial Day, because it looks back at all the “heroes of faith” in the
Old Testament: the “heavyweight champions,” so to speak. What is the nature of the
faith they had? Can we “live up” to it? When do I know I have “enough faith”?
