Witness Series Week 2: Behold the Lamb of God

John confesses that Jesus is “the Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world” (v. 29). Already we see that Jesus is more than just a rescuer or a king; he is God’s sacrificial lamb come to expiate sin. John also recognizes that Jesus’ baptism is superior to his own. Like John, we are called to see Jesus and bear witness about him.
