Sometimes, all it takes is a helping hand.

A kind word. A listening ear. A simple act of kindness. A hand reaching out when someone needs it most.

We don't always know what the people around us are going through, but we do know that God calls us to love one another.

Galatians 6:2 reminds us to "Bear one another's burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ."

As we head into the weekend, here's a little challenge:

Who could use a helping hand from you today?

Sometimes the smallest acts of love can make the biggest difference.

It’s time to take your foot off the brake and push in with everything you’ve got—coasting doesn’t work in a war zone. The enemy is fighting for your soul, but in Christ you have the authority to press the gas and move forward together. Ask the Holy Spirit today where you’ve been passive, and invite Him to help you fully engage in the battle and in the journey.

We have to get back to that place where nothing comes between us and the calling God has placed on our lives. Lay down the distractions, the temptations, and the things that dull your thirst for Him, and fix your focus on what He’s asked you to do. Take a moment today to ask the Lord what you need to say “no” to so you can say a deeper “yes” to Him.

I love how my son “figured out” Mario Kart: you just never stop hitting the gas. In our walk with Jesus, sometimes the most powerful thing you can do is simply not quit—keep trusting, keep praying, keep showing up. Where do you need God’s strength today to keep your foot on the gas in faith?

Don’t quench the Spirit—God is inviting us to take our foot off the brake and trust where He’s leading. It’s easier than we think to shut Him down when He starts to move, but He’s faithful to guide and speak when we make room. As you watch, ask the Lord, “Where have I been pressing the brakes on Your Spirit in my life?”

This week in Buds Jr. Church, we explored Joseph’s story and learned that God helps me forgive! Through Genesis 50:15–21, we saw how Joseph chose kindness and forgiveness instead of revenge, even after his brothers had hurt him. His story reminded us that we can trust God through difficult times and ask Him to help us forgive others. Our Memory Verse, 1 Thessalonians 5:24, reminds us, “God will make this happen, for he who calls you is faithful.”
