Pastor Joshua Parriera preaches on Jesus’ powerful teaching in Matthew 6:19–24 about treasure, focus, and the battle for our hearts. What makes your eyes light up? The things that capture our attention often reveal what we treasure most, and what we treasure eventually shapes the direction of our lives.

Most importantly, Jesus declares that no one can serve two masters. Sooner or later, our hearts will choose what they truly trust, pursue, and worship. This message is a call to wholehearted devotion, clear spiritual vision, and finding true freedom, peace, and purpose in Christ alone.

In this message, Pastor Joshua Parriera teaches through Matthew 6:16–18, where Jesus speaks directly about fasting, not as a performance, but as a deeply personal act of devotion to God. “Live for an Audience of One” calls us to examine our motives. Fasting isn’t about looking spiritual or gaining the approval of others, it’s about humbling ourselves before the Father, drawing near to Him with sincerity and dependence.

Jesus challenges the outward show and redirects our focus inward, toward a real, unseen relationship with God. What is done in secret matters, and the Father who sees in secret responds. If you’ve ever misunderstood fasting or wondered how it fits into your walk with God, this message will bring clarity, conviction, and a renewed purpose. “When you fast…” Matthew 6:17 (ESV)

What does it really mean to pray the way Jesus taught us? In this message, Pastor Joshua Parriera walks through Matthew 6:9–15 and unpacks the Lord’s Prayer, explaining why it should be called the 'Disciple's Prayer,' as we are taught to pray in a powerful and practical way. This isn’t about saying the right words; it’s about having a right-sized view of God and a right posture of the heart. Jesus teaches us to pray with purpose, surrender, and trust, honoring the Father, seeking His will, depending on Him daily, and extending forgiveness just as we’ve been forgiven.

This passage doesn’t just show us how to pray; it reveals who we are praying to. If you’ve ever struggled with prayer, felt distant from God, or wanted a deeper, more meaningful connection with Him, this message will encourage and equip you. “Pray then like this…” Matthew 6:9 (ESV) Join us as we learn to pray with humility, dependence, and faith, the way Jesus intended.

Pastor Joshua Parriera preaches on Matthew 6:5-8 and Jesus’ invitation into the secret chamber with the Father. In a world filled with noise, distraction, and performance, Jesus calls His people into a hidden place of intimacy where prayer becomes real, personal, and powerful. The secret chamber is where hearts are restored, burdens are lifted, and communion with God is deepened.

Jesus teaches that prayer is not for appearance or empty repetition, but for a genuine relationship with the Father who sees us in secret and knows every need before we ask. Join us as we discover the beauty of private prayer and the call to draw near to God.
