Calling all parents & kiddos of North County!! 🗣️
This Sunday is move-up day, meaning your child or you, if you are under 18, are moving up a grade! Example is, if you were in 3rd grade and are heading to 4th grade, you will go from Kid's Place to Crew! Crew kids meet up front by the stage during worship just so you know. 😉 If you are confused about where your kiddo is supposed to go, feel free to dm us or look at ncctk.com on what ministry your kid's grade goes to! See you this Sunday! 💛

We’re excited to welcome Associate Pastor Luke Cunningham to the NCCTK staff!! 🙌🏼
Luke will be speaking at all services this Sunday as we continue (re)Constructing Faith in the book of Genesis. We are so excited to have him as a part of our North County family and to hear him preach the word of God! See you Sunday and give Luke a big welcome to NCCTK! 🤍

Nobody’s going to stand at your memorial and say, “Wow, they really cleared their inbox.” 📥
Joel and Sara are kicking off a brand new series on fall as the real new year and the whole premise is this: the habits you build right now are who you’re becoming for the next nine months. Not what you’ll accomplish. Who you’ll be. Part 1 is out now. Link in bio.

Sometimes the biggest test of your faith comes after the storm. 🌊
Noah’s story reminds us that following God doesn’t mean life will always be easy or that we’ll never experience failure. But before Noah faced his greatest challenge, God reminded him of His promise. God is a promise-keeping God. His faithfulness isn’t dependent on our perfect circumstances or perfect obedience. When life feels uncertain, we can keep walking in what God has promised, stay humble in His blessings, and trust that He is still working, even when we can’t see it. Faith gets real when life doesn’t go according to plan. Sometimes trusting God looks less like having all the answers and more like “okay God, I trust You anyway.” Genesis 4 reminded us last week that real faith isn’t about getting the outcome we want, it’s about knowing who we’re trusting. See you this Sunday as we dive deeper into Genesis as we welcome back Pastor Curt Harlow! ✨

“”It’s a false humility arrogance, it looks really holy and humble, and secretly it’s toxic.” Joel said that about the fear of messing things up for God. And honestly? It landed. Sara’s back, the fair is over, and they’re processing what it looks like to say yes to God when everything inside says no, cows, diving boards, worship sets, and Gideon included. New episode out now. Faith doesn’t always look like getting the answer we prayed for. Sometimes it looks like trusting God when the outcome is completely different than what we hoped for. Real faith means giving God our first and our best, surrendering control, and trusting that He is good, even when life doesn’t make sense.
