For many girls in Uganda, a lack of basic hygiene supplies doesn’t just affect comfort; it affects whether they can fully show up.

It can mean missing school, struggling to focus in class, avoiding activities, or missing opportunities to gather at Life Center each week for discipleship, encouragement, and community.

That’s why hygiene packs matter.

This month, 637 girls across Uganda received hygiene packs through Childcare Worldwide, helping remove practical barriers so they can continue learning, growing, building friendships, and engaging consistently in Life Center.

At Life Centers, girls are reminded each week that they are known, cared for, and deeply loved by God. Practical support like this helps make it possible for them to keep showing up and continue growing in their faith.

I’ve been thinking about the children who will gather at Life Centers this weekend.

Some will walk in excited to see their teachers.
Some will come carrying heavy things from home.
Some may be hearing again and again that Jesus sees them, loves them, and is calling them to follow Him.

Every Saturday, Life Centers create a faithful place where children can worship, pray, open God’s Word, build relationships, and grow through the local church.

Would you pray with us this weekend?

Pray for the children.
Pray for their teachers.
Pray for the churches leading faithfully in their communities.
And pray that every open seat would be filled.

This is why Life Centers matter.

Our heart is to help every child know Jesus and grow as His disciples. But we don’t stop there. We care for the whole child. Their health, their family, and the real challenges they face every day.

Recently, Luhana fainted at the market and was rushed to the hospital, where doctors discovered she was suffering from anemia and severe vitamin deficiency.

Because she is part of a Life Center, her family had somewhere to turn for help. Through that connection, Luhana received the vitamins and care she urgently needed, support that many children around her don’t have access to.

Today, she is slowly regaining her strength.

This is what Life Centers make possible: discipleship that doesn’t stop at teaching, but shows up in real, tangible ways.

Because of generous donors, Luhana is healing and being reminded she is deeply loved.

Last Saturday, children gathered in Life Centers across the world to learn, worship, pray, and grow in their faith.

These weekly gatherings may look simple from the outside, but something eternal is happening inside them.

Children are hearing God’s Word.
They are being known by faithful leaders.
They are building friendships rooted in faith.
They are learning that they are loved by Jesus and created with purpose.

This is what Life Centers are all about.

Week after week, through the partnership of local churches, children are being discipled in a safe, consistent place where faith can take root and grow.
