What would it feel like to wait 39 years to receive the New Testament in your own language?

That's exactly what happened for the Notsi people of Papua New Guinea. For decades, believers longed to encounter God's Word in the language closest to their hearts. Then, after 39 years of faithful translation work, that day finally arrived.

The celebration, gratitude, and joy that followed are a powerful reminder of why Bible translation matters. Every person deserves the opportunity to hear and understand the Good News in their own language.
