DELIVERANCE FROM EMOTIONAL WOUNDS
Scripture: Psalm 147:3
“He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds.”
DEVOTIONAL THOUGHT
Emotional wounds are often the deepest kind.
They don’t bleed on the outside, but they ache on the inside.
They come from:
• betrayal
• disappointment
• abandonment
• harsh words
• broken trust
• loss
• unmet expectations
• past trauma
These wounds can shape how you see yourself, how you see others, and even how you see God.
But Psalm 147:3 reveals something tender and powerful:
God heals the brokenhearted and He binds up their wounds.
He doesn’t ignore your pain.
He doesn’t rush your healing.
He doesn’t shame you for hurting.
He draws near.
Deliverance from emotional wounds is not about forgetting what happened.
It’s about God touching the places that still hurt and bringing restoration where there has been damage.
God heals emotional wounds by:
• speaking truth where lies took root
• restoring identity where rejection left scars
• bringing peace where anxiety settled
• giving closure where there were unanswered questions
• filling emptiness with His presence
• replacing bitterness with freedom
• turning pain into purpose
Healing is a journey, but you are not walking it alone.
God is gentle with your heart, patient with your process, and faithful to restore what was broken.
Today, let this truth settle deeply:
Your wounds are not too deep for God’s healing, and your heart is not too damaged for His restoration.
REFLECTION FOR THE DAY
• What emotional wounds have I been carrying quietly
• How can I invite God into those places today
• What truth from Scripture can I speak over my heart as it heals
PRAYER POINTS
Father, thank You for seeing every wound in my heart.
Touch the places that still hurt and bring healing where I feel broken.
Lift the heaviness, calm the emotions, and restore my peace.
Heal my memories, renew my mind, and strengthen my heart.
Walk with me through this journey of restoration.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.
