Join us for a SINCERE look into self-examination... Are you TRULY 'of the faith of Messiah'?

Today's Readings:
When You Ascend [B'HaAlotkha]

Torah Portion: Numbers [BaMidbar] 8:5-11
5And יהוה spoke unto Moses [Moshe], saying, 6"Take the Levites [Levi'im] from among The Sons of [B'nei] Yisra'el, and cleanse them. 7And thus shall you do unto them, to cleanse them: sprinkle the water of purification upon them, and let them cause a razor to pass over all their flesh, and let them wash their clothes, and cleanse themselves. 8Then let them take a young bullock, and its Meal Offering [Minkhah], fine flour mingled with oil, and another young bullock shall you take for a Sin Offering [Khatat]. 9And you shall present the Levites [Levi'im] before the Tent of Meeting [Ohel Mo'ed]; and you shall assemble the whole assembly of The Sons of [B'nei] Yisra'el. 10And you shall present the Levites [Levi'im] before יהוה ; and The Sons of [B'nei] Yisra'el shall lay their hands upon the Levites [Levi'im] . 11And Aharon shall offer the Levites [Levi'im] before יהוה for a Wave Offering [Tenufah] from The Sons of [B'nei] Yisra'el, that they may do the service of יהוה .

Division of Prophets [Haftarah] Portion: Zechariah [Zekhar-Yah] 4:1-7
1And the Messenger [Malakh] that spoke with me returned, and waked me, as a man that is wakened out of his sleep. 2And he said unto me, "What do you see?" And I said, "I have seen, and behold, a Menorah all of gold, with a bowl upon the top of it, and its seven lamps thereon; there are seven pipes, yes, seven, to the lamps, which are upon the top thereof; 3and two olive trees by it, one upon the right side of the bowl, and the other upon the left side thereof." 4And I answered and spoke to the Messenger [Malakh] that spoke with me, saying, "What are these, my Adon?" 5Then the Messenger [Malakh] that spoke with me answered and said unto me, "Do you not know what these are?" And I said, "No, my Master [Adon]." 6Then he answered and spoke unto me, saying, "This is The Word of [D'var] יהוה unto Zerubavel, saying, 'Not by might, nor by power, but by My Breath/Spirit [Ru'akh], says יהוה of Armies [Tzeva'ot]. 7Who are you, O great mountain before Zerubavel? You shall become a plain; and he shall bring forth the foundation stone with shoutings of 'Grace, grace,' unto it.'"

Renewed Covenant [Brit Khadashah] Portion: Hebrews [Ivrim] 4:11-13
11Let us strive therefore to enter into that rest, lest any man fall like those who were disobedient. 12For The Word of God [D'var HaElohim] is living, and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the point of division between soul and spirit, and between the joints and marrow and bones, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. 13And there is no creature hidden from His sight; but all things are naked and open before the eyes of Him to whom we are to answer.
