𝗘𝗹𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗵 𝗦𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗮𝘆 𝗶𝗻 𝗢𝗿𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝗧𝗶𝗺𝗲
"But what proves that God loves us is that Christ died for us while we were still sinners." This verse shatters the human notion that we must achieve perfection or fix ourselves before we can be worthy of God's affection. Christ’s sacrifice was made at our absolute worst, proving that His love is not a reward for good behavior but a free gift. Because His grace meets us in our brokenness, we are given the security and power to truly transform.

𝘙𝘦𝘧𝘭𝘦𝘤𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯𝘴:
We often carry an unconscious belief that we have to "earn" our way into God’s favor or work off our mistakes before approaching Him. Ponder: In what areas of my life am I still trying to "prove" my worthiness to God, rather than simply resting in the truth that He loved me while I was still a sinner?

Jesus doesn't look at the broken crowds with judgment or frustration; He looks at them with gut-wrenching compassion because they are "harassed and helpless." Ponder: When I look at the brokenness in myself or the people around me, do I respond with frustration and judgment, or do I see them through the compassionate eyes of Christ?

𝙋𝙧𝙖𝙮𝙚𝙧:
Lord Jesus, thank You for Your love. Thank You for not waiting for me to become perfect before giving Your life for me on the cross. When I am overwhelmed by my own failures or tempted to hide from You, remind me that Your grace meets me at my lowest point. Help me to receive this unmerited love today, so that it may heal my heart and overflow into compassion for a broken world. Amen.

Today we honor the Immaculate Heart of Mary—a heart that held the mysteries of God with patience, love, and unwavering faith. 🤍

While the Sacred Heart of Jesus represents the source of divine love, the Immaculate Heart of Mary shows us the most beautiful response to that love: a life lived in humble obedience and gentle devotion.

𝘗𝘳𝘢𝘺𝘦𝘳:
O Most Blessed Mother, heart of love, heart of mercy, ever listening, caring, consoling, hear our prayer. As your children, we implore your intercession. Obtain for us the grace to love your Son as you loved Him, and to keep His Word as you kept it in your heart. May our hearts be made pure and patient, ever striving to do the will of the Father. Through your Immaculate Heart, we entrust our lives, our families, and our world to the protection of Jesus. Amen.

𝗦𝗼𝗹𝗲𝗺𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗠𝗼𝘀𝘁 𝗦𝗮𝗰𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝗛𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝗝𝗲𝘀𝘂𝘀
Today, on the Solemnity of the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus, we pause to reflect on the depth of Christ's love for us. As it is written: "The designs of His Heart are from age to age, to rescue their souls from death" (Ps 33:11).

In a world that can often feel overwhelming, we are invited to bring our burdens to Him. Jesus, who is "meek and humble of heart," promises us rest and comfort.

𝘓𝘦𝘵 𝘶𝘴 𝘫𝘰𝘪𝘯 𝘵𝘰𝘨𝘦𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘳 𝘪𝘯 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘴 𝘱𝘳𝘢𝘺𝘦𝘳 𝘵𝘰 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘚𝘢𝘤𝘳𝘦𝘥 𝘏𝘦𝘢𝘳𝘵:
O Most Sacred Heart of Jesus, living a life-giving fountain of eternal life, infinite treasure of the divinity, I adore You, I love You, and with sorrow for my sins, I offer You this poor heart of mine. Make me humble, patient, pure and wholly obedient to Your will.

Grant, good Jesus, that I may live in You and for You. Protect me in the midst of danger. Comfort me in my afflictions. Give me health of body, assistance in my temporal needs, Your blessing on all that I do, and the grace of a holy death. Amen.

𝗦𝗼𝗹𝗲𝗺𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝗖𝗼𝗿𝗽𝘂𝘀 𝗖𝗵𝗿𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗶, 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗠𝗼𝘀𝘁 𝗛𝗼𝗹𝘆 𝗕𝗼𝗱𝘆 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗕𝗹𝗼𝗼𝗱 𝗼𝗳 𝗖𝗵𝗿𝗶𝘀𝘁
Reflecting on a grace-filled Sunday, we celebrated the Solemnity of Corpus Christi which was marked by the commissioning of 24 Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion (EMCs) by Fr John Lau during the 11:00 AM Mass.

𝘼 𝙋𝙧𝙖𝙮𝙚𝙧 𝙛𝙤𝙧 𝙤𝙪𝙧 𝙀𝙭𝙩𝙧𝙖𝙤𝙧𝙙𝙞𝙣𝙖𝙧𝙮 𝙈𝙞𝙣𝙞𝙨𝙩𝙚𝙧𝙨 𝙤𝙛 𝙃𝙤𝙡𝙮 𝘾𝙤𝙢𝙢𝙪𝙣𝙞𝙤𝙣:
Lord, we lift up our 24 Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion who were commissioned this day. Grant them a deep and abiding love for the Eucharist they serve. May their hearts be pure, their hands be steady, and their lives be a witness to the profound mystery they carry to the faithful. Strengthen them in their ministry, that through them, many may encounter Your Real Presence. Amen.

Thank you to everyone who joined us in prayer and worship. Let us continue to keep our new EMCs in our prayers as they begin this sacred service to our parish community.

𝗦𝗼𝗹𝗲𝗺𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝗖𝗼𝗿𝗽𝘂𝘀 𝗖𝗵𝗿𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗶, 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗠𝗼𝘀𝘁 𝗛𝗼𝗹𝘆 𝗕𝗼𝗱𝘆 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗕𝗹𝗼𝗼𝗱 𝗼𝗳 𝗖𝗵𝗿𝗶𝘀𝘁
As we celebrate the Solemnity of the Most Holy Body and Blood of Christ, we are reminded that Jesus offers Himself as the Living Bread that sustains us through the wilderness of life. In John's Gospel, Jesus makes the bold promise that whoever eats His flesh and drinks His blood will have eternal life, moving us beyond the temporary manna of the Old Testament to a permanent, life-giving communion with Him. St Paul further emphasises this unity, reminding us that because we share in this one bread and one cup, we are intimately bound together as one Body in Christ. Receiving the Eucharist is therefore both a profound encounter with God and a clear call to become what we consume, poured out in loving service to a spiritually and physically hungry world, not mere symbols but truly the Real Presence of Christ Himself. Therefore, we must always revere this great Sacrament, giving the highest honour and worship as we approach His Altar with awe and deep gratitude for His abiding presence among us.

𝗥𝗲𝗳𝗹𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀:
Do I approach the Eucharist merely as a routine ritual, or do I truly recognise it as the living presence of Christ meant to sustain and transform me?
Since receiving Communion makes us "One Body," how am I actively working to heal divisions and nourish those in need within our community?

𝘗𝘳𝘢𝘺𝘦𝘳:
Lord of the Eucharist, we thank You for the profound gift of Your Body and Blood, offered as real food for our earthly journey. Nourish our weary hearts and awaken in us a deeper hunger for Your living presence. Whenever we partake in this sacred mystery, transform us into what we receive, so that we may bring Your life, healing, and unity to a broken world. Keep us always in perfect communion with You and with one another. You who live and reign forever and ever. Amen.
