𝐀𝐮𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐜 𝐏𝐫𝐚𝐲𝐞𝐫𝐬.
Last Sunday's sermon highlights that:

𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗺𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘀 — God is not impressed by the length or eloquence of our prayers, but by the heart behind them.
𝗣𝗼𝘀𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝗺𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘀 — Prayer is an attitude of humility, surrender and faith, moving from independence to dependence on God.
𝗚𝗼𝗱 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗲𝘀 𝗳𝗶𝗿𝘀𝘁 — The Lord’s Prayer begins by honouring God and seeking His kingdom before bringing our personal requests.

Prayer isn’t about having the right words or saying the longest prayer. It’s about coming before our Father with a sincere heart, in humility, surrender and faith.

As we pray, may we learn to put God first—honouring His name, seeking His kingdom, and trusting Him with our daily needs.

“Your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.” — Matthew 6:10

What would it look like for prayer to become our first response, not our last resort?

70年前,她与已故丈夫 弗雷德施活牧师, 一同参与创立神召會伯特利堂.
在我们庆祝 上帝带领我们教会走过70年的这个特别时刻, 能够再次与玛格烈施活牧师同聚,是何等美好的祝福!

Are you excited for the grand finale of our 70th Anniversary celebrations?

We’re honoured to have our 96-year-old Founding Pastor, Rev Margaret Seaward, speaking at our 70th Anniversary Thanksgiving & Celebration Service!

Together with her late husband, Rev Fred Seaward, she was part of Bethel’s founding 70 years ago. What a privilege to celebrate 70 Years of God’s Faithfulness with her!

Last Friday, as part of our 𝟳𝟬𝘁𝗵 𝗔𝗻𝗻𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗮𝗿𝘆 celebrations, we had the joy of welcoming our hawkers and community residents to our 𝑳𝒐𝒗𝒆 𝑶𝒖𝒓 𝑵𝒆𝒊𝒈𝒉𝒃𝒐𝒖𝒓 𝑫𝒊𝒏𝒏𝒆𝒓. ❤️

What an amazing evening it was! We thank God for 5 salvations, and even more importantly, for the seeds that were sown into every heart that evening. We believe God will continue to water those seeds and bring forth fruit in His time.

We also thank God for His incredible favour and provision— from our vendors and sponsors, to the wonderful weather that held up throughout the event. Truly, He has been so good and faithful to us!

And a very special thank you to everyone who served— whether on the ground, behind the scenes, or on stage. The unity of our church was evident in every part of the evening, as we came together with one heart to love our neighbours and bless our community.

All glory and praise belong to God!

上个星期五，我们配合教会 70周年庆典，举办了「爱邻舍晚宴」， 邀请我们的小贩中心朋友以及社区居民一同来共度这个美好的夜晚。

真是一个充满喜乐、恩典的晚上！我们感谢神，让我们当晚看见 5 位朋友 决志信主！更重要的是，我们相信神已经把福音的种子撒在每一颗心里，我们也深信，神必亲自浇灌这些种子，并在祂的时间里使它们结出果子。

我们也要感谢神一路以来所赐下的恩惠与供应——无论是供应商、赞助商的支持，还是当晚美好的天气，一切都看见神奇妙的预备和带领。神真的何等美善、信实！

最后，我们要特别感谢每一位参与服事的弟兄姐妹——无论是在台前、幕后，
还是在现场每一个岗位上服事的你们。我们看见整个教会同心合意，为着同一个目标摆上自己，用行动去爱我们的邻舍、祝福我们的社区。

一切荣耀、颂赞都归给我们的神！

𝐆𝐈𝐕𝐈𝐍𝐆

In Matthew 6:1–4, Jesus reminds us that giving is not about being seen or praised by others. Instead, we are called to give with a heart that is quiet, humble, generous and compassionate.

As disciples of Jesus, giving is an 𝗮𝗰𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽 — whether we give financially, give our time, or give ourselves in prayer.

When we recognise that every good gift comes from our Heavenly Father, we can give not out of lack, but out of His abundance to bless others.

Let’s give cheerfully, generously, humbly and compassionately — knowing that our Father sees what is done in secret.
