Maundy Thursday is the day Jesus celebrates the final Passover with His disciples, where He instituted the sacrifice of the Eucharist and Sacrament of the Priesthood.

This evening as we enter into the Paschal Mystery on the fulfillment of Christ’s mission to “reveal the mystery of the Father and his love” for us (Gaudium et Spes 22). Jesus gives us a new and eternal Covenant, instituting an eternal priesthood and leading us to an eternal Exodus from sin.

The Mass - in which the mystery of Christ’s Passion is made present - is the continual outpouring of his merciful love that Jesus “loved his own in the world, and he loved them to the end.”

As we enter into this Paschal Triduum, let us not miss this opportunity to walk closer to Christ through his passion, death and resurrection. 🙏

The most significant days of the liturgical year have begun this week. During the Pascal Triduum - Maundy Thursday to Easter Sunday - the Church enters the deepest mysteries of Christ's Passion, Death and Resurrection. Do take note of the timings of the Holy Triduum schedule at SFX.

With anticipated higher attendance, please note that standing is not allowed inside the Church. Please follow the guidance of the Wardens.

⛔ Please note that the Adoration Room will be closed from Holy Thursday at 6pm and reopen on Easter Sunday 7am.

🙏 𝗣𝗥𝗔𝗬𝗘𝗥 𝗙𝗢𝗥 𝗢𝗨𝗥 𝗘𝗟𝗘𝗖𝗧/𝗖𝗔𝗡𝗗𝗜𝗗𝗔𝗧𝗘𝗦
As our RCIA and RCIY elect and candidates prepare to receive the Easter Sacraments, let us spiritually accompany them in prayer. May their hearts be open, their faith strengthened, and their steps guided with grace as they prepare to enter new life in Christ. May they feel the love of our faith community surrounding them, walking with them every step of the way.

Let us keep them in our prayers—especially in these sacred days—trusting that God, who has begun this good work in them, will bring it to completion. 🙏

Over the weekend, the Church recalls the entrance of Christ the Lord into Jerusalem to accomplish his Paschal Mystery. Here are some highlights from Palm Sunday. 🙏🏻🌿

How was this Lenten journey for you? Write a prayer of thanksgiving as we head into the Easter season or a short testimony of how you too have encountered Jesus this Lent. Tear this section out and share it on the wall display outside the SFX canteen from Palm Sunday to Divine Mercy Sunday.

From next weekend, complete your final reflection on the perforated card, and paste your reflection/testimony on a board that will be placed outside the canteen, as part of our parish’s re-commitment together.
