7 decades?! I count wrongly, is it?! Or my rosary spoil liao - made wrongly! How come like this! 😱

The month of the rosary is almost over... but did you know that there's another rosary known as the Franciscan Crown Rosary?

There are 7 decades instead of 5, with each one focusing on a joy/sorrow of Mother Mary. It truly looks at the life of Jesus, but through the lens of his Mother more deeply.

💗 Perhaps on this last day of Oct, you can end the rosary season with a bang by trying this one!

I think in our busy lives, we often do try to make time to pray, read the Bible, and so on, but very often, many other things in life take over.

Here's how you can get a Portiuncula indulgence!

By setting aside the time and putting in effort and sincerity, one can get the indulgence for yourself, or even for another person.

Do follow the COVID-19 regulations and guidelines as you go about completing the steps to get the indulgence! Also, because of these uncertain times, there are some leeway in going about these - for example, attending Mass online and receiving spiritual communion, making a contrite confession to God in your personal prayer and going for the sacrament of confession when you get an opportunity to, praying at the grotto of the your parish because the main church isn't open etc.

A big thank you to everyone who attended our recent online talk on "The Joy of the Worker Ant" by Fra Esmond.

We hope that you gained greater insight as to how nature and faith can go hand in hand, and how we can find joy even when the drudgery of life can get to us. May we remember that God wants to help us attain a true joy that sometimes come from overcoming difficult times.
