*Shahadah #27 at Masjid Sunnah Nelson*

Friday, 16th October, 2026

Alhamdulillah, Masjid Sunnah witnessed another special moment as our brother Felix took his Shahadah and embraced Islam.

*What led him to Islam?*

He was born into a Christian family, and grew up practicing Christianity then began questioning his faith as an adult. He researched different religions online and found that Islam is what aligns with what he believes in.

He also mentioned that his grandfather was a Muslim and that he has many Muslim friends.

Felix has now been assigned a New Muslim Mentor who will assist him on his journey of learning.

We warmly welcome our brother to his new family — the Muslim Ummah.
