Annual Mehfil e Miraaj un-Nabi.

We welcome Maulana Shaykh Haroun Kanj from Australia (graduate of Dar ul Mustafa, Tarim) on Saturday 25th January 2025 from Maghrib (4:41) to Isha (7pm).

Local scholars and naat khwaans will also be in attendance. Langar will be served.

Khushbū-e-Hassān, in partnership with Ghausia Masjid Nelson, presents the Annual Naat gathering, bringing together students from various masajid to collectively praise the Prophet ﷺ at Ghausia Masjid Nelson.

A separate event for ladies will take place at Silverman Hall at the same time.

Doors open at 11:30 AM, with refreshments served. Both events begin at 1:00 PM.

Alhamdulilah, we have yet again entered the blessed month of Rajab.

RasulAllah ﷺ said “Rajab is the month of Allah, Sha’ban is my month, and Ramadan is the month of my Ummah.”

May Allah allow us to benefit greatly from this blessed month.

Our work on the final stages of our delivery plan continues and we have been able to share our progress with Ustad Tahir Anwar, on his current visit to Nelson from Yemen.

InshaAllah, very soon, we will announce next steps towards implementation.

Last week we had a meeting with parents and community members to deliver a presentation of the new Education Service being developed at the Nelson Ghausia Trust.

There have been many takeaways in relation to levels of communication and involvement of parents in their children’s learning and more.

Alhamdullilah we are going in the right direction and soon we aim to be in a position to announce next steps for this process moving forward, following our advertising of the Education officer post.......
