We are a local church with a long history in Burnley. Both as a faith community and in practical service to the people, government, organisations and businesses of the town. We are also a regional church;

connecting with neighbourhoods and networks across East Lancashire. Through small groups, community projects and schools work from Clitheroe to North Manchester and Blackburn to Colne. you recognise the signs and know how to respond.

The training is happening on Monday 6th July from 7:00-9:00pm and is open to anyone to attend.

COMPASSION SUNDAY

THIS SUNDAY is Compassion Sunday at Life Church.

Join us as we hear stories and updates from the village we support in Uganda through the work of Compassion.

At Compassion, everything begins and ends with Jesus. As He leads, they move — and we’re so grateful to partner together on this mission.

Compassion is a Christian child development charity that sees beyond the devastating reality of poverty to the God-given potential in every child and family. In partnership with 8,900 local churches across 29 countries, they move with compassion to release children from poverty in Jesus’ name.

Right now, more than 2.3 million children are part of Compassion projects where they receive practical support and hear just how loved they are by Jesus.

It is Compassion's hope that the children enrolled in the projects become thriving followers of Jesus, equipped to break free from poverty and transform their families and communities.
