I hope you are in the best of health and imaan. Our students have successfully completed their written and verbal exams before the holidays. Now that they have returned to their classes, we are delighted to invite students and their parents/guardians to a *'special student achievement and awards ceremony'* on *Friday 4th September.*

6:00-6:30

*Important Notice*
Attendance is mandatory for *ALL* students, accompanied with their parent/guardian. *Both hours must arrive at 4:45.*

We kindly request everyone to arrive promptly for what promises to be a memorable celebration for our students. We look forward to seeing you all.

🌟 The Nelson Grand Milad unNabi ﷺ Jaloos 🌟

Every year, Nelson comes alive with faith, devotion, and joy as thousands gather for the Annual Milaad un Nabi ﷺ Jaloos, one of the largest processions in the UK, in honour of the blessed birth of Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him).

Led by our esteemed Imam, 'Allāmah Qari Khalid Mehmood, alongside local Scholars and Imams, this spiritually uplifting event draws all people, regardless of background, ethnicity, or faith, to join in a powerful expression of unity and peace.

Starting from Markazi Jamia Ghausia Masjid, on Clayton Street, the procession will make its way through the town and finally return back to its starting point.

In true Islamic spirit, food and refreshments are shared with all attendees, as a heartfelt symbol of unity, love, joy and hospitality.

Come celebrate. Come unite.

We have reached the end of the term. Students will now spend this week sitting their exams.

Recently, we had the pleasure of welcoming Jonathan Hinder MP (MP for Pendle), Oliver Ryan MP (MP for Burnley), and Clive Grimshaw, (Pendle Police Commissioner), to our mosque.

We gave them a brief tour of the mosque and had the opportunity to discuss a number of pressing issues affecting our local community.

We are grateful to the respectable guests for taking the time to visit, see our work and engage with members of the local community.

⭐️ Open Day 2026 ⭐️

We had a fantastic turnout for our Open Day and BBQ. It was wonderful to see so many people come along to enjoy the day, meet new faces, and spend time together. Thank you to everyone who attended and helped make the event such a great success. We really appreciate your support and look forward to seeing you all again.
