👣 WDR supporter and Lay Leader Designate of The Methodist Church in Ireland, Pat Jamison, has completed her Step Up Challenge, raising an amazing £785 for our partner,King George VI Centre in Zimbabwe.

Throughout September, Pat walked more than 500,000 steps, including part of her journey along the Camino de Santiago!

Every step helped make a difference, and we're so grateful for Pat's dedication and continued support!

Say hello to Brenda, part of the team at Phakamisa!

How good does that banana bread look?! 🤩

Meet Brenda Mvelase from Richmond Farm, a dedicated member of our Kitchen training group who joined us back in January.
In just a short time, Brenda has shown incredible growth, hands-on dedication, and a true passion for baking. She proudly brought this wonderful, golden-brown homemade banana bread to class this morning to share and show off her new skills to her trainer.
Not only has Brenda mastered her baking techniques, but she has also taken the inspiring entrepreneurial step to start selling her fresh bakes within her local community. It is wonderful to see our community skill-building initiatives turning into real economic opportunities and micro-businesses.
Congratulations, Brenda, on your hard work and sweet success.

At Autumn Soul last weekend, young people heard about our partner, King George VI Centre in Zimbabwe, and were invited to write notes of encouragement to students there...

The messages they wrote are filled with kindness, care and hope!
From reminding someone they are valued to encouraging them to keep going through challenges, every note shares God's love in a simple but powerful way.

Thank you to every young person who took part! Your words could brighten someone's day, build confidence and show God's love all the way across the world! 🌍✉️

Associate Director for Latin America, Cesar Valdez, is training a new partner in Bolivia. A lack of aircraft fuel meant they had to unexpectedly travel by van on difficult roads to get to the rural project. Join us in praying for a great time of training. Thank you Cesar for your obedience to serve this community!
