On Thursday evening in Chaplaincy, we will have a Vigil Mass for the Feast of our patron, St Luke. We warmly encourage students, staff and alumni of nursing, medicine and the various other healthcare disciplines to join with us for the celebration of Mass and blessing of hands.

This blessing of hands serves as a reminder that our hands, as well as our minds and hearts, serve as key instruments of compassion, care, and healing.

Afterwards, we’ll gather for pizza! Come along! 🍕🙏🏻✨

We bade a sad farewell to Queen’s Academic and friend of Chaplaincy, Professor Pascal McKeown, who steps down this autumn as Dean of the Medical School. We wish Pascal and his wife Julie every blessing in their well-earned retirement.

What a talk!

St Luke's Guild had the honour of hosting Sandra McAllister, consultant plastic surgeon and friend of Chaplaincy, for a night of conversation. We laughed, cried and prayed through what was an inspirational account of Miss McAllister's view on her own vocation - both in a spiritual and professional sense. A huge thank you to all who attended!
