Today the AGM of the congregation was held, after a short Palm Sunday service conducted by our minister Rev Lynda Kane, in the Lodge Hotel, Coleraine.

Office bearers elected for 2024:-

Honorary Secretary: Mrs Adele Johnston

Honorary Treasurer: Mr William Martin

Representative Elder: Mr John Esler

Safeguarding Representative:
Mrs Marion Watters

The congregation also celebrated the birthday of Rev Brian Cockroft with cake and singing Happy Birthday.

On New Year's Day, five of our members, known as "The Ballymoney Dunkers" (aka John Esler, William Martin, Marion Watters, Carole McAvoy and Jacqueline Brown) braved the icy waters at Castlerock to take part in the "Dip for Diabetes" being organised by Coleraine branch of Diabetes UK. So far they have managed to raise a fantastic £700 - well done to the team and a massive thank you to everyone who has donated.

Several (very brave) members of the Ballymoney Congregation are taking part in this morning's "Dip for Diabetes" at Castlerock Beach which is being organised by the Coleraine branch of Diabetes UK. Today was a special day for the Ballymoney Congregation, not only was it our annual Harvest Service and Congregational Dinner, but it was also Rev Lynda Kane's first service as Minister of Ballymoney.

Ballymoney Non-Subscribing Presbyterian Church is pleased to host the General Synod meetings in the Lodge Hotel, Coleraine on Tuesday and Wednesday 13th and 14th June. All are welcome for the Communion Service on Tuesday evening at 7.30pm and the Service of Installation of the Moderator of the General Synod which follows immediately afterwards.

💙Ballymoney 💙

A huge well done to Marion Watters, William Martin & John Esler who braved the chilly waters of Castlerock Beach at 11.00am on New Year's Day.

All in aid of Diabetes Research.
The event is accurately known as 'Get Blue for Diabetes'. We're reliably informed it was very cold!

Kudos to Will who gallantly rescued Marion when she was swept from her feet by a HUGE wave and got her bobble hat wet!! 🥶🦸‍♂️🏊‍♀️

Our Harvest Service will be held on Sunday 30th October at 4pm in The Lodge Hotel, Coleraine and will be conducted by Lynda Kane. The Service will be followed by a meal in the Hotel (cost £20 per person). Everyone is welcome.

The Annual NSPCI General Synod Meetings got underway today in All Souls Church, Belfast. At a special service this evening, our Minister, Rev Lena Cockroft was elected as Moderator of the General Synod for the incoming year. Congratulations to Rt Rev Cockroft from everyone in the Ballymoney congregation.
