For nearly 50 years, we’ve been building a Jewish community where LGBTQ+ people can belong, lead, raise families, celebrate, mourn and grow together.

From showing up for one another during the AIDS crisis to writing liturgy that reflected our lives, we’ve never treated Pride as a once-a-year event.

Join us for the launch of the new Sha’ar Zahav History Online Archive! From groundbreaking moments in LGBTQ+ and Jewish life to stories of community, activism, celebration, and resilience, our archives capture the rich history of who we are and how we’ve grown.

The Archive Committee will share highlights from the collection, offer a behind-the-scenes look at the project and unveil this exciting new resource for our community.

At our recent Hineni gathering, community members shared tea, snacks, stories, laughter, and new connections, reminding us that care doesn’t happen only in moments of crisis but also in moments of companionship. 🫂

Hineni exists to help our community show up for one another by offering care, connection, practical support, and presence to those who are sick, isolated, or in need. Gatherings like this remind us of how community helps combat the loneliness and disconnection Hineni was created to address.
