There's a kind of faith that stays inside the walls of a sanctuary, and a kind that walks out the door and asks who's hungry, who's forgotten, who's still waiting to be seen as fully human.
Sunday reminded us that these were never two separate things to begin with. To know God and to notice your neighbor — really notice them — turn out to be the same practice, just wearing different clothes. We left asking ourselves a harder question than we came in with: not whether we believe this, but whether our lives are actually built to reflect it.
