We are a Parish Family inviting others home to discover, live and share the redeeming love of Jesus.

Our story is filled with many chapters, each of them contributing to who we are as a parish today. In our history there were times when our community experienced great achievements together and there were times when we have felt the sting of great disappointment. We have celebrated together the moments of each other’s greatest joys and have stood by each other in times of deepest need or sorrow. Through it all, as we have watched the changes that have taken place around us in our world, we remain steadfast to our mission and dedication to our parish. Our story as a community of faith continues to be written today. We remain a vibrant parish at Holy Ghost Catholic Church where our parishioners are strengthened by the sacraments and motivated by our love for God and for each other. Together we aspire to do God’s will and build God’s kingdom on earth.

✨ Light up the night in prayer!

Join the Junior Legion of Mary for a Glow Rosary this Wednesday evening, Oct. 28, at 7:30 p.m. on the lawn in front of the St. Bernadette Parish Archdiocese of Omaha parish social hall. We’ll light glow sticks as we pray the rosary together.

Bring your family and friends for an evening of faith and fellowship. All are welcome! 🙏

🎃 What a wonderful evening of treats, good food and fellowship!

Thank you to everyone who joined us Saturday evening at St. Bernadette Church for our first "Trunk or Treat" event and Soup Supper, a joint effort between Holy Ghost and St. Bernadette parishes!

We welcomed about 225 trunk-or-treaters and their families and we loved seeing the creative trunk themes, fun costumes and smiling faces.

A special thank-you to everyone who decorated a trunk and handed out treats, and to our parish Hospitality Team for serving delicious soups, chili, hot dogs, cookies and hot cocoa in the parish social hall. Your time and generosity helped make the evening special! 🧡

We loved bringing our two parish communities together for an evening of fun and fellowship. Stay tuned for more photos from our Soup Supper!

Gather your family and friends and join us from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 8, in the Holy Ghost Parish Social Hall for our Famous Turkey Dinner!

🍽 Enjoy a traditional meal featuring turkey, mashed potatoes and gravy, dressing, a vegetable, cranberries, a dinner roll with butter, a beverage and dessert.

💵 Dinner prices:
- Adults: $13
- Seniors age 62 and older: $11
- Children age 12 and younger: $8

Takeout will be available. Guests can also try their luck at the Meat Wheel featuring Frank Stoysich Meats and purchase raffle tickets!

🥧 We would greatly appreciate donations of delicious Thanksgiving pies to serve during the dinner.

🍰 Extra desserts: $2 each and proceeds will support the Holy Ghost Society of St. Vincent de Paul Omaha and its work assisting individuals and families in need.

Come enjoy a wonderful meal, parish fellowship and the opportunity to support an important ministry! ❤

🎃 Trunk or Treat & Fall Soup Supper! 🍲 👻

Join St. Bernadette and Holy Ghost for our first annual Trunk or Treat & Fall Soup Supper this Saturday, Oct. 24, from 6-8 p.m. at St. Bernadette!

This is a joint parish and school celebration — so invite your family for an evening of food, fellowship and fall fun!

🍲 Fall Soup Supper: The Hospitality Committee will be serving soup, chili, hot dogs, mac and cheese, cookies and drinks in the Social Hall.

🎃 Trunk or Treat: Home & School will host Trunk or Treat in the parking lot, with plenty of treats and creatively decorated trunks for the kids to enjoy!

⛪ Coming to 5 p.m. Mass? We’d love to have you! Please leave costumes off during Mass and change into them afterward before joining the festivities.

A special thank you to the St. Bernadette Men's Club for generously covering the food costs for the evening!

🍗 Thank you to everyone who joined us for Friday evening’s Chicken Dinner at Holy Ghost!

We are especially grateful for our dedicated volunteers who prepared and fried the chicken, served food and drinks, cleared tables, washed dishes and kept everything running smoothly throughout the evening.

These dinners would not be possible without the time, teamwork and generosity of our volunteers—or the continued support of our parishioners, families and friends. Thank you for making the evening another wonderful success! Hope to see everyone at our next chicken dinner in January.

🏈 It's Husker Football Night at Holy Ghost!
