🎙️ What does it look like to help transform cities by transforming lives? 🌎

CFCI President & CEO Jake Hjemvick recently joined Scott Voorhees of NewsRadio 1110 KFAB on Community Matters to talk about what God is doing through Christ For the City International—in Omaha and around the world!

From youth outreach and education to meeting practical needs and sharing the Gospel, there’s a lot happening through our missionaries and ministry partners. ❤️

A big thank-you to Scott Voorhees for welcoming us into the studio and giving us the opportunity to share the story!

Opening Doors, Sharing Hope, and Making a Difference! 🙌❤️

We are so grateful for the doors God continues to open, creating opportunities to make the name of Jesus known while serving and supporting our local communities.

Recently, we held a conference focused on su***de prevention, addressing an important and sensitive issue that affects so many lives.

Through the El Alfarero (The Potter) program, our missionary Tony López and board member Juan Carlos have been helping bring awareness and hope through these conferences. Several sessions have already taken place, and the impact continues to grow!

We are also working with two discipleship groups within the police force, building relationships and creating opportunities to grow in faith and support those who serve our communities. 🙏

We believe that sharing the love of Jesus means being present, addressing real needs, and walking alongside people through life’s most difficult challenges.

Please join us in praying for these initiatives, for everyone involved, and for the lives that will be touched through these open doors. May God continue to use these opportunities to bring hope, healing, and transformation! 🌎✨

Feeling adventurous? Ready to try something new? 🇹🇭🦗🐛

Our Thailand base director and our friend and missionary Josué made an interesting stop on their way to Bangkok—and it wasn’t your typical food stop! 😂

What was on the menu? Worms and crickets! 🦗😅 They decided to step outside their comfort zones and give these local delicacies a try.

So, here’s the question: Would YOU dare to try something new? 👀

Sometimes, missions take us beyond what we know and into experiences we never expected. And that’s part of the adventure!

Our CFCI Thailand base is waiting to welcome you with open arms. Come experience the culture, build relationships, and be part of what God is doing in Thailand! ❤️🌏

Are you ready to say YES to the adventure? 🙌

What if God is already at work in places you’ve never been, and He’s inviting you to join Him? 🌎 In his latest article, Eric shares an experience inside a historic New York City cathedral that sparked a bigger question: Have we made faith something we gather for instead of something we’re sent out to live?

From Genesis to Jesus to the early Church, Scripture tells the story of a God who moves toward people. He pursues the lost, reaches the broken, and invites us to be part of what He’s already doing.

At CFCI, we believe mission isn’t about bringing God somewhere He isn’t. It’s about joining Him where He’s already moving.

Go where God is moving. ❤️

A mobile bakery? You read that right! 🥖🚐

It may be an unconventional idea, but in just a few days, this exciting initiative will become a reality at our CFCI base in Peru! 🇵🇪✨

We’re incredibly grateful for this opportunity and the potential it holds to make a meaningful difference in people’s lives—not only by creating new opportunities, but also by helping improve their quality of life in practical and lasting ways.

At Christ For The City International, we believe that bringing hope means finding creative ways to serve communities, meet needs, and show the love of Jesus in action. ❤️

Thank you for believing in what God is doing around the world through CFCI. Your prayers and support help make initiatives like this possible!

Stay tuned to see this exciting project come to life! 🙌🌎

Thailand, here we are! 🇹🇭🌏🙌

Our team in Thailand is having an incredible time, and we couldn’t be more grateful for each person who said YES to God! They’ve gone the extra mile, stepped out of their comfort zones, and given their all to share the Good News of the Gospel on the other side of the world. ❤️

Thailand has a very small Christian population, and there is a tremendous need for people to shine the light of Jesus, share His love, and bring the hope of the Gospel to communities across the nation.

This is our first team to Thailand and they dared to say YES to what God was calling them to do. Their obedience is a reminder that missions begin when we’re willing to take that first step of faith.

What about you? Would you dare to say YES?*🌎

🙏 Please keep praying for every team member as they have seven more days in Thailand. Pray for their health, strength, unity, protection, and for meaningful opportunities to share the love of Jesus.

One team. One mission. One Gospel. From anywhere to everywhere! ❤️🙌

We are so grateful for every prayer and every act of support for this incredible team that said YES to God! They’ve stepped out of their comfort zones and traveled to the other side of the world to share the Good News of the Gospel. ❤️

Thailand is a nation where the Christian faith remains a small minority, and the need to experience the love of Jesus through His people is great. We believe God is at work, and we’re honored to be part of what He is doing!

🙏 Would you join us in praying for this team?

- Spiritual protection as they serve and share the Gospel.
- Health and physical strength throughout the journey.
- Unity and encouragement among every team member.
- Open hearts and divine opportunities to share the hope of Jesus.

We believe that missions can go from anywhere to everywhere! 🌎

🇸🇻 Salvadorans. 🇨🇷 Costa Ricans. 🇺🇸 North Americans. 🇹🇭 Thais.

Different nations. One body. One mission. One Gospel.

Let’s keep this team covered in prayer as they serve in Thailand and share the love of Jesus with the world! 🙌❤️

More and more families are joining the CFCI mission every day. 🌎❤️

A few weeks ago, our base in El Salvador had the privilege of welcoming Wilber and his cousin William. Wilber traveled from Texas, while William joined us from another part of El Salvador.

It’s incredible to see how God brings people together—and how He continues to unite families around the mission of serving others and sharing the hope of Christ.

During their three weeks at the base, Wilber and William shared their testimonies, visited schools, and served in different areas of ministry. 🙏

During their final week, they also blessed one of our sponsorship programs by donating donuts for the children and providing soccer cleats for the boys in our soccer school.⚽🍩

What a beautiful reminder that serving can take many forms. Sometimes it’s sharing our story, sometimes it’s giving our time, and sometimes it’s simply using what we have to bless someone else.

Thank you, Wilber and William, for serving with us and for being willing to be part of what God is doing in El Salvador! ❤️🇸🇻
