Back in the ’80s, when Dad pointed that finger, you already knew the conversation was over. There was no “let’s talk about it” and no arguing your case for the next 20 minutes. You heard, “My roof, my rules,” and that was pretty much the end of the debate. One look from Dad could straighten you right up. Funny how those old rules seemed so strict back then… but looking back, they’re some of the memories we remember most.
