Join us Sunday, Sept. 6, at First Christian Lafayette as Rev. Luis Gierbolini continues our summer sermon series, "Living the Gospel Together." This week's message is Owe Nothing But Love based on Romans 13: 8-14.

Adult Sunday School begins at 9:00 in the Chapel.
Children's Sunday School is held during the worship service at 10:30.

Following today's service, everyone is invited to the parlor where we will be celebrating those with a birthday, anniversary, or other special day during the month of September.

First Christian Church, Lafayette, Indiana, would like to issue an invitation to our worship service at 10:15 a.m. on Sunday, August 16 as we welcome Rev. Jerry Zehr as our guest speaker.

Jerry served as a pastor in the Christian Church ( Disciples of Christ) for 35 years and has spent much of his ministry building bridges among people of different faiths and backgrounds. As a longtime interfaith leader and founder of several Indiana interfaith organizations, Jerry has dedicated his life to encouraging dialogue, understanding, and a deeper commitment to the common good.

Jerry's message is inspired by themes from his new book, Sacred Rebel, Fierce Love in a Fearful World:
• Discovering courage through faith and surrender
• Crossing divides with grace and compassion
• Building bridges in a divided world
• Becoming people who bring hope, healing, and peace to our communities

Following the worship service, Jerry will be available for a time of conversation and book signing. Copies of Sacred Rebel, Fierce Love in a Fearful World will be available for purchase to those who would like to continue exploring the themes of fierce love, courage, and healing.

First Christian Church is located at 329 N 6th St., Lafayette, IN, on the corner of 6th & North Streets. There is parking in the lot across from the church on North Street. Please enter through the sanctuary doors on North Street. Everyone is cordially invited.
