We have ample, free parking available directly behind our building, accessible from both North Street & Brown Street. Then, enter the double-glass doors that are in between the sanctuary & education buildings (you'll see a sign above it

that says "church office"). If you turn left as soon as you enter, you'll find the fellowship hall to your right, and then sanctuary at the end of the hall. If you go straight as soon as you enter, you'll find the kitchen, lounge, and church office.

🎶 Organ Repair Update! 🎶

Here are some photos that Jerin at Goulding & Wood has taken while working on the Great 8’ Trumpet!

🪈The "Great 8' Trumpet" refers to an 8-foot trumpet reed stop located on the Great manual (the main keyboard division) of a pipe organ.

We’re so grateful for the care and craftsmanship going into this project, and we can’t wait to see—and hear—the final product! We’re looking forward to hearing this beautiful instrument come back to life. 🎵✨

Our trusty workers from Goulding & Wood - Indianapolis were here this last Monday for several hours removing many working parts of the organ (i.e. Great Trumpet, Swell Oboe, Reed Pipes, Tuning Scrolls).

They will be cutting away fatigued metal and solder in new where needed. Dust has worked its way into everything. They will wash the dust out and buff the reed tongues, shallots and tuning wires.

The reeds were built back in 1870. Many thanks to our three private donors who made this possible -- a $16,000+ cost.

We have requested the guys take some pics from their Indy shop showing them cleaning and repairing.

TBA if FBC is able to put some type of celebration together when the organ is put back together in about a month!
