thodist Church, we are now a United Methodist Church, and have been in our current location since 1885. Ours is a beautiful, old, and well-maintained church that has undeniably beautiful stained glass windows. In a sea of churches, ours is a small and dynamic congregation that responds well to new opportunities. As part of the Indiana United Methodist Church, our mission is to “Make disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world”. For us, this means we are led to make a difference by our presence, gifts, and service for and with others. Brown St UMC has adopted a vision of “Growing food, friends, and faith through Jesus Christ”. Our community gardens have become our core means of connecting us with, and of serving in, our community.
