🎶 Welcome, David Kime! 🎶

We are delighted to announce that David Kime has been appointed as the new Director of Music at St. John’s Episcopal Church!

David brings a rich background in choral conducting, sacred music, and church ministry. A recent graduate of Brigham Young University’s choral conducting program, he is also the founder and artistic director of the Ensign Singers, a chamber ensemble dedicated to sacred choral music. Beginning this fall, David will pursue doctoral studies in choral conducting at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.

David, his wife Samantha, and their daughter Anneliese are excited to join the St. John’s family, and we are thrilled to welcome them to our parish community.

David’s first day at St. John’s will be Monday, June 15, 2026, and we will celebrate the beginning of his ministry on Sunday, June 21, following the 9:00 a.m. Holy Eucharist.

Please join us in offering David and his family a warm St. John’s welcome!

Join us for a new 12-week Bible Study, Share the Dream: Shining a Light in a Divided World through Six Principles of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Beginning Tuesday, June 9th, 2026, this study will explore Dr. King’s vision of faith, justice, reconciliation, and community through the lens of scripture and Christian discipleship. Participants may choose to attend either the morning session at 10:00 a.m. or the evening session at 6:30 p.m.

If you are interested in participating, please email Fr. Joél at [email protected] and indicate which session you plan to attend. All are welcome as we gather for conversation, reflection, and spiritual growth in a divided world.
