Reminder: Tomorrow is College Sunday at Elmwood! Our college students will be participating in the worship service, and we will have a potluck following classes. Please bring plenty of food so that our college students have lots of yummy things to eat, and plan to stay to eat with them to make them feel welcome!

Plan to come and celebrate this youth group love story at a Wedding Shower Sunday, August 16th from 2:00-4:00pm at the Boyd Home! Chris and Marihelen have created this adorable bucket for you to contribute a token (cash donation) of your love for these two towards an Elmwood gift. Or give contributions to Gina, Christi, Kinley, or Cindy .

Sunday, July 19 NEED:
Elmwood has some wet carpet this morning, and an extra ShopVac and hands to run it would be helpful. If you have one and can bring it to church, that would be great. If you can go and help Greg this morning before services, that would be great, too! You can call him if you want more info, but he may not hear you as he’s trying to clean up what he can.

Tonight is the night! The Boyds invite everyone to their home tonight at 6:30 to say farewell to one of our graduate students, Luz Comboni. Luz has been a wonderful part of both the Young Professionals and Children’s ministries here at Elmwood, and we’re sad to see her move on. The Boyds will be providing grilled pork chops and drinks, and they ask that you bring a side or dessert to share.

Severe weather is forecasted for Lafayette and surrounding areas this afternoon , Wednesday , June 17th. For the safety of our Elmwood food pantry ‘neighbors’ and workers, our Elmwood food pantry will be closed today , Wednesday June 17th. We plan to be open Saturday, June 20th from 10-noon as long as there are no severe weather forecasts for Saturday morning. Prayers lifted for safety .
