Bro. David Snodderly has been in music his whole life. His dad played the piano and strongly supported singing schools and singing conventions throughout his life. Bro. David is a brick/block mason by trade. His true love of music is most important. He has taught guitar lessons at home as well as has a hidden talent for playing the piano. He loves drinking coffee and discussing music. He has also had songs published. Bro. David serves on the board of the Tri-City Gospel Music Camp and teaches private guitar lessons at the camp. Thankfully, Bro. David is also the “fix-it” man for the camp and is called on frequently. He accompanies on his bass guitar during group singing sessions. He is married to Sister Sharon Snodderly, and they have two daughters, Heather and Renee, and two granddaughters, Shelby and Shayla.

Sister Tori Taylor was born and raised in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Her passion for music started at the early age of five years when she started taking private piano lessons. She continued taking private lessons until she started teaching privately herself at age fifteen. She continues to teach approximately fifteen private lessons a week while also teaching elementary music. She graduated from Louisiana State University with her Bachelor of Music Education degree.

She started teaching at Tri-City Gospel Music Camp in 2014. She teaches theory as well as private piano and voice. She is very enthusiastic about teaching and encouraging individuals to serve in the music ministry at their church. On occasion she shares her testimony and is inspirational to the young ladies attending the camp. Teaching music to the next generation is what she loves to do. Taylor has a musical heritage with the Founder of Gospel Singers of America, Bro. Bobby Burnett, being her grandfather.

Sister Carol Peters has been involved in shaped note music for over 30 years. Sister Carol enjoys spending her summers filled with singing schools where she has made so many wonderful memories and hopes to continue making. Sister Carol began teaching at Tri-City Gospel Music Camp in 2002. She teaches the beginners class and does wonders with the young minds of children. Before the end of the first week, the children sing and direct the songs they have learned.

During the rest of the year she teaches piano lessons, church singing schools, and works as a cosmetologist. As you can see from the photos, at camp she is very versatile in her skills - a teacher as well as a stylist! She has been married to her husband, Wayne, for over 33 years. They have four children and seven grandchildren. Outside of music, Peters favorite pastime is riding motorcycles. In years past, they rode out west to go up the west coast through California and Oregon. God has richly blessed her in letting her do the things she loves and enjoys. She is amazed at the deep friendships that develop through serving the Lord. She always wants to be a willing vessel for the Lord and to help and be an encouragement to others.

We are excited to be planning for our 2026 music camp.

We would like to share information about our principal, Bro. Cody White. Bro. Cody began serving in this office in 2023. He has recently returned from two weeks of singing schools in Australia! We are anxiously awaiting hearing of his experience there.

Bro. Cody grew up attending music schools at an early age. He graduated from Tennessee Wesleyan University with a Bachelors degree in music education emphasized in church music and has taught music schools since he was 16. He also has been involved in and around music most of his life with his grandparents.

His love and passion shows as he engages the congregation or groups in learning how to sing.

Bro. Cody also helps run a construction business with his partner when he is off the road from his music ministry.

When there’s free time, he enjoys being with his family, fishing, hunting and working outside.

He also met his wife Rachel at a music school. Bro. Cody and Sister Rachel have two children, Annlye and Trylyn and together they travel and serve the Lord teaching music in the churches.

It has been brought to our attention that there has recently been a posting on our page selling t-shirts with the music camp logo on the shirt. There was also a link for payment. This was not posted by the administrator of the music camp page. Thank you.
