Let me tell you how God performed 2 miracles with my heart!

Hi my name is Scott. Thanks for taking a couple of minutes to read this story. In 2020 during the height of COVID I began to feel unwell.

I was unsure of what was happening I just couldn’t explain it. I drove to the walk-in clinic and my vitals were taken. A Dr quickly came in and told me my heart was in Afib.

(If you are like me you would have no idea what that was. What I learned was that my heart was beating so fast it was fluttering. Normally a heart beats in what is called Sinus Rhythm. I was not in sinus rhythm and was at risk of clotting and having a stroke.)

I told the Dr. “Ok well I will get it checked out.” The Dr said “you need to get to a hospital ASAP!” I drove to the hospital and checked myself in. I was placed on several medications and told hopefully this will cause your heart to go back to normal.

Many of my friends, family and church family were praying for my quick recovery. Before I went to sleep, the nurse came into my room, to let me know my heart had still not switched to the healthy sinus rhythm. The nurse told me that if my heart did not “flip” I would be facing surgery.

That night I began to pray and sing my favorite worship songs. I fell asleep listening to the song “Another in the fire”.
As I worshiped our all powerful God I fell asleep in perfect peace. That night my heart flipped and went into sinus Rhythm. This was a miracle because the meds had not worked.

Over the last three years my heart has not once returned to Afib. One may not believe me that this is true; however I wear a monitor that tells me that my heart is in sinus rhythm. This is the second miracle!

Our God is More-Than-Enough! He is more than able to meet you where you are! He can heal your body, Soul and Spirit! Call out to Jesus. He will meet you where you are! Our God is faithful, you can count on Him.

Let me tell you how God protected me!

Hi my name is Scott. Thanks for taking a moment to read this post. In 2003, I began to feel a stirring about where my wife and I lived and worked.

I went to a few friends independently and asked them to pray. These friends I will call Sharon and Mary. Both friends went to God and prayed.

Sharon was a very visual person. Sharon said she saw a movement; like one hand moved out from under another and was elevated. I was not so visual. I did not understand.

Mary, who had prayed independently, explained more clearly for me. Mary said “God is calling you to move to the Carolinas!” (I was living in upstate New York!!) Mary continued, “There is an older man crying out to God, seeking a younger man to mentor and train in ministry to help him, run His church. You must go to him.”

I have learned that when God says move, you move! I made a few phone calls over the next several weeks. I then was put in touch with a man named Dr. Stephenson.

Dr. Stephenson was the older man!!! Dr. Stephenson asked me to come and visit him in North Carolina. There during my visit I was offered a position in the church as his assistant pastor. My wife and I returned home packed our things and began our move!

On our way into our new town our moving truck’s breaks failed! We were on our way down a Mountain! The break fluid in the front of the truck caught fire. The break pads literally melted into what looked like molten metal. There was no where to stop! There was no way to stop! There was nothing we could do except to pray!

My father-in-law, was driving the truck with me, his name is John. John felt led to gear down the truck to lower gears. Then in a last ditch effort not to barrel out of control and off the edge of the mountain, he pulled the emergency break!

Somehow and for whatever reason the truck came to a halt! The breaks, the pads the whole system became fused together!
We were protected, we were safe, we were alive! When God says “go” you go! He will protect you! God is More-Than-Enough to meet you where you are and lead you where you need to go!

The world may be on fire around you. It may feel like you are in a truck racing down a Mountian with no breaks. God is More-Than-Enough to lead you through and out of that situation. Our God is all powerful! If you seek Him you will find Him!
Trust in Jesus. This is not a religion, this is a relationship with God Almighty.

Sometimes in the moment I have felt so scared as life changed in crazy ways. But God is Masterful. All things work together for the good of those who love Him and are called according to His purpose.

Let me tell you How God healed a Belgian Draft Horse named Glory!

Hi my name is Scott. Thanks for taking just a few minutes to read this story. It was December of 2001 and my wife and I were visiting some friends just after Christmas outside of London, Ontario.

During our visit, our Friends were showing us their beautiful Belgian Draft horses! These massive majestic creatures made me feel so small! One of the horses named “Glory” was struggling with a neck injury. It was told to me that glory had fallen down a few days before. Glory had hurt her neck and had not been the same since. Our friends loved their horses and did not want to see them suffer or be in pain.

Our friends asked us if we would pray for “Glory” and lay hands on her believing for her to be healed. We entered Glory’s stall and placed our hands gently on Glory’s neck. Together we prayed in the Name of Jesus that Glory would be healed; that she would no longer be in pain”.

I had never prayed for a horse before! I really didn’t know what to think, but when someone asks me to pray, I pray!

Several weeks later I was on the phone with my friends and asked how Glory was doing. They told me that glory was doing just fine that she was totally healed and was having no issues at all!

God cares for all your needs! There is nothing too small or too big! Even if your need is the size of a Belgian Draft Horse! Our God, the creator of heaven and earth, is More-Than-Enough! He will meet you where you are, with whatever need you might have! Call out to Jesus, He cares for your every need.

Let me tell you How God healed a deaf ear!

Hi my name is Scott, I want to thank you for taking just a couple minutes to read this brief story. In 1996 I was volunteering with a youth ministry in St. Catharines Ontario. One night we had been sharing the truth of who God is, Jehovah Rapha. The God who heals!

At the end of the meeting a young girl (who we will call “Sonya”) came up to me and asked for prayer. I said “sure!” I laid my hand on her ear and prayed “in the name of Jesus” that her ear would be healed.

I turned and walked away to continue to clean up the youth room. A few moments later other students started to call me back to “Sonya”. I ran over to see “Sonya” crying! I was worried and asked “whats wrong?” One of the other girls began to tell me that “Sonya was born deaf in her right ear and that when we prayed her ear opened and she could now hear again!”

To be honest I was totally shocked! Yet, God was true to His nature, His name and His word! Our God is a great and powerful God who can heal us! Our God is More-Than-Enough. If you need Him, seek Him!
You will find Him.

Let me tell you about how God paid my rent when I was Broke!

Hi my name is Scott, in July of 2001, I was in a very dire financial situation. My new bride had been injured in a car accident and I was just barely making enough to pay our basic bills. For a few different reasons that month we came up financially with a deficit.

I was broke, I only had $140.00 to my name and no way to pay my $650.00 rent or my utilities! I was devastated, I was completely distraught. With no way to earn extra income and no relief in sight;I took my last $140.00 and placed it into the offering plate at church. I said ”God it’s not enough to do anything with, so you can have it!”

That day my parents had come for a visit and wanted to take my wife and I out for dinner. I politely declined and told them I was not feeling well. I told them I just needed to rest and wanted to go to bed. Depressed at my financial situation I headed to my bedroom. When my dad called out “ hold on, this is for you!”

Dad handed me a white envelope with $1000.00 in $20.00 bills. I said “what’s this?” Dad explained that weeks before an old friend had felt led by God to put the envelope together for me and send it to me!

Before I knew I had a need, God, the God of heaven and earth had already provided! He is true to His name, MORE-THAN-ENOUGH!
God supplied every need I had.

God is faithful to care for all you need. Will you trust Him? I have never seen the righteous forgotten or their children begging for food! Call out to Jesus He is waiting for you, with arms wide open! Thanks for taking a minute to read this story.

Let me tell you how God set me free from Grief!

Hi my name is Scott. On August 13th 2021 my big brother Paul sent me a text late that evening stating he had tested “slightly Positive for COVID”. He later text saying he was having difficulty breathing. Although I was trying to prepare for work, early the next day, I immediately called him. “Paul” I said “what’s going on?” Paul told me what he had said in his text that he had tested positive for COVID but was “OK”.

Paul told me he had felt rough that day but anticipated feeling better soon. I begged him “Paul please don’t wait, go and get help.” Paul told me that he had “felt rough before and was used to fighting through” he had delt with asthma his whole life. He promised me that “if it got too bad” he would go to the hospital.

We both exchanged our usual awkward and but heartfelt “I love you” and Paul said” Don’t worry Scotty I’m ok!” Those were the last words I heard my brother say!

The next day my big brother struggled to breathe as he got ready for the day. He realized he needed help but was struggling to do basic things. Just after Paul arrived at the hospital he past away. My big brother, my dear friend, my sounding board, my confidant was gone!

With my heart broken, I was stricken with grief. I sank to a dark place emotionally and spiritually. I began to mourn with no end in sight. I could not pray, I could not worship God, I even struggled find comfort in the scriptures.

I sought help from a grief counselor and found some relief. I was still in dark mourning. I felt as though no one could understand. I felt so very alone. I knew that God would not forsake me, but I couldn’t seek Him.

A year after my brother past, my wife dragged me to a church conference. I didn’t want to go. I didn’t want to go any where or do anything!

There I sat unable to focus, to listen, to receive. Then Elyssa Smith (one of the guest worship leaders) started to tell a brief story from her home church in Texas. Elyssa shared about how they had experienced a breakthrough while singing the song “O Taste and See*”.

Elyssa then proceeded to led us all in the Song “O Taste and See*”. As Elyssa sang, it was like all of the heaviness fell off of me and I was free! I was already a believer in Jesus but I was set free from all of the heavy mourning and grief that had consumed me.

I really did not understand what was happening except that I was in a very dark place and all of the sudden I was free! I thank God for Elyssa and her humble, obedient worship of The Most High God.

Elyssa sang over us. She sang over me! Those words, those amazing words of Life in song broke the darkness over my heart and mind setting me free! My heart was full of Joy and gladness. It was like a river of life began to gush out of me. It’s not super manly, but tears rolled down my cheeks with joy in my heart.

God set me free from my grief after my big brother past from COVID and He can do the same for you! You are not alone. You are not trapped. God is MORE-THAN-ENOUGH! Thanks for taking the time to read this story.
