In Mission Together English Language Camp Day 2. The American and Hungarian students are opening up and building even deeper relationships and sharing meaningful conversations. Pastor Randy opened our morning session with a Bible story and lesson about Joseph. Later in our small groups, we discussed challenging family dynamics and how God can still use us for good work, even when we fail. Lunch and afternoon activities were engaging and dynamic and we have received overwhelmingly positive feedback from both the Hungarian and American students. They feel like their language skills are improving and they have already asked if we are coming back again next year.

Thank you for your continued prayers for In Mission Together English Language Camp in Hungary co-hosted by Szekszárdi Metodista Gyülekezet and a team from FBSUMC. When our leaders met this afternoon to reflect on our first day working with the local high school students, everyone was excited about the collective energy and high levels of engagement. Please pray specifically that our team will continue to positively impact the community of Szekszard and help grow the presence of the Methodist church in this part of the word.

Please be in prayer for the In Mission Together Hungary team as we partner to bring a week long English Language Camp to local Hungarian high school students who will soon be taking their oral proficiency exams for English language. Our combined teams will divide into 3 classes (beginning, intermediate, and advanced) to deliver a curriculum we have planned together . Our program targets the assessed skills at each level of the formal examination and embeds them into a relational context where students will interact with native English speakers, build relationships, and learn about Jesus, the Bible, and opportunities to engage in the local ministries of Szekszárdi Metodista Gyülekezet.

Due to airport delays, we arrived a day later than planned, but we are ready and excited to dive in and meet our students tomorrow morning!
