As we wrap up another summer, we want to take a moment to offer our gratitude to those who made this summer possible. Starting with our camp volunteers, we want to say something that we probably didn’t say enough throughout the summer: thank you!
Thank you to everyone who showed up on a Monday morning, took a week out of your summer to be with us, and cleaned our camp spaces when no one was looking, and no one said thanks. Whether you served as a chaplain, cared for campers as a volunteer nurse, joined us for a week to fill in as a counselor or videographer, or filled one of the many roles that make camp run, you made a difference.
One of the things that makes our camp community so special is that it is bigger than the people who work here every day. No matter how much time you gave, you were a part of what made the summer special, and we would not have been able to fulfill the mission of Geneva without your gifts and the time and resources you offered this summer. We are incredibly grateful for each of you and hope you know how much your presence meant to us!
