Are you ready to strengthen your village?

We are very excited to let you all know that we are bringing back Dr. Stephanie Grant to do another Trauma Informed Childcare training on January 13th!
The training will provide basic education and skills for how to care for children who have experienced trauma and/or attachment disruptions. A specific focus will be given to why children with such histories are different and why different caregiving techniques are needed as well as on providing suggestions for how to respond to behavioral problems.

Stephanie is trained as a Developmental Psychologist and is licensed as a Professional Counselor. She currently works as the Director of Infant Mental Health and Trauma Informed Communities at Developmental Enhancement Behavioral Health in Holland, MI. She has masters degrees in Marriage and Family Therapy and Psychology and a PhD in Lifespan Developmental Psychology. Her clinical and research interests focus on working with infants and children with attachment concerns and trauma histories, specifically those who have adoption or foster care backgrounds. She works as a clinician, professor, and researcher. She is also a foster and adoptive parent herself.
