Teachers, students and families are getting settled back into the swing of things this school year, but some have been back at it for a while now! This July our very own rockstar med student started her third year at SHSU Russell and Glenda Gordy College of Osteopathic Medicine and headed out for her clinical rotations. Good luck, Maggie! We're proud of you! Keep saving the world, and remember we've got a place for you here always!

The Sunday School year has just begun but Miss Joni has already got the kids choir off to a great start! What an awesome blessing it was to hear such a huge message from our little ones!

We had lots of folks in our most recent new member class that will be joining across several services over the next few weeks. We were glad to get to welcome the first one of the bunch this past Sunday. And our hospitality crew still pulls out all the stops whether we have one or one hundred joining. Thanks to Kim Thompson and her group, plus special thanks to HS youth Grace Gros for helping out with the setup! And welcome to the Tree of Life family, Bethany!

During Sunday School hour our adult classes came together to be blessed by a visit from the Rev. Dr. Don Carlson who led a class on the Apostle Paul. Pastor Carlson has been leading pilgrimages to the Greece, Türkiye, Ephesus, for immersion in the first century world of Paul and a better understand of the Gospel, New Testament and how it applies to our 21st Century lives.

Add in Youth Choir, Children's Church adventures and another fun week of "Stump the Pastor" and there was something for everyone this Sunday!

And there will be this Sunday too!! No Sunday School because of the holiday weekend but we'll still be there at 8 & 10:30 and hope you will be too!!
