Trunk or Treat is free but we're still running our current youth fundraiser that will be going through to the end of Trunk or Treat! If you haven't had a chance to check out these amazing gift baskets and the incredible and gorgeous quilt from our talented Creative Hands quilters, tickets for all of the raffle prizes are just $1 and you do not have to be present to win! All of the proceeds go to support our youth group so it's a win even if you don't win!

Alright, Tree of Life, y'all are always fabulous and the absolute GREATEST at stepping up when needs arise!! Now is the time!! 🦸‍♀️💪🦸 You know how amazing and successful last year's Trunk or Treat was and that was only because of all your help! But when I told you we expected even bigger and better things this year, while I'm always shooting for optimism on this stuff, our Facebook event is indicating just that! Check out these numbers! And we still are days away!!

So we need your beautiful faces to sign up to help here: https://bit.ly/TrunkOrTreatVolunteers2026

And we need you to bring:
•LOTS of individually wrapped candy
•LOTS of small non-candy prizes
•LOTS of bottled drinks (not glass, sealed, filled) up to 2 liters
•LOTS of fall/Halloween themed cupcakes

FYI the bottled drinks and cupcakes are for games. Food is covered, but we'd love more volunteers to help us there too!

And we need you to keep buying the things on our Amazon wish list here: https://bit.ly/TrunkOrTreatWishList

Sunday is going to be AWESOME! GET EXCITED! AND GET READY! AND GET YOUR SHOPPING CARTS 🛒🛍️ AND YOUR HELPING HANDS GOING!!!!!! 👐🎃🙋‍♀️🙋🍬🥳💖

Have you spent the day desperately curious about how you could contribute to Trunk or Treat, even if you can't be there in person?! Guess what?! We have an Amazon Wish List to help with donations to make our event even better than ever! You can order the items and drop them off at the church this week or just have them shipped directly to Tree of Life! (just make sure it'll get there on a day the office is staffed please!)

Also, not on the list but very much in need are:
•bottled drinks (not glass, sealed, filled) up to 2 liters
•fall/Halloween themed cupcakes
•bags of individually wrapped candy
•small non-candy prizes
Please drop these items off at the wagon outside the youth office!

Thank you always for your amazing support!!

Sunday, Nov. 1 is All Saints Day. As is our custom at Tree of Life, during worship that day we will invite everyone to come forward to light candles in remembrance of loved ones they have lost.

Additionally, in place of the normal sermon, we will read names of people who have passed away within the last year. If there is someone close to you that you have lost since Nov. 1, 2025 that you would like to be included, please send that person’s name to [email protected] by the end of the day Sunday, Oct. 25!
