Relapse! That's right, that ugly word is what will be discussed tonight during our lesson or more specifically how Christ's care and control will help us walk in victory over relapse. If you know of anyone who could benefit from hearing this lesson tonight then go ahead and bring them. We will have pizza and salad at 6:15 and large group starts at 7. See everyone then!

Good morning everyone, I hope everyone has the chance to get out and enjoy the weather. Remember that tonight is CR! We will have Ashley joining us from Covenant Church in Willis. Let's get out and support her. Also Celebrate Recovery At Liberty Church will be celebrating a full year coming up October 13th. There will be BBQ and fellowship. We as a group will have a few folks heading out to Cleveland to support them and what God is doing through that ministry!). If you need directions please reach out to this post. Tomorrow night is Testimony night at Crossroads CR! We have Ashley joining us from Covenant Church in Willis. She will be sharing her story on how Christ worked through this program and how her life was redeemed in the process. Remember food at 6:15, Large group at 7 and small groups begin at 8. Crossroads Celebrate Recovery is a gathering on Thursday night where we come together as family to love one another, share in our victories over our struggles, & support each other in hope and faith of what God is still going to do.

Hey CR family! We have oppertunities like crazy to be hands and feet of Christ during this time of rebuilding. For those of you who have been wanting to plug in, but are not sure how, here are some oppertunities around the woodlands.

Call Woodlands church, they have opened there doors as a shelter and need folks for shift work, lonestar convention center. Spring high school, college park high, and Costco.

They have all been converted to shelters and Im sure would need help. Remember also that during tragedies like this the help tends to dry up after the initial surge of support right after the floods.. Keep in mind that people and displaced families will need help for a long time to come.

Pray and ask God to set you where your needed and then give of yourself. Please Share! God bless..

I hope and pray that God's grace and favor is shining through to everyone this week. Well as you are all aware this recent storm has made it very difficult to those living in and around Crossroads Baptist to make it in this week. The church will be closed this Thursday night and as a result we will not be having our normal CR meeting. I hope and pray that everyone affected find joy amongst the turmoil and that through this tragedy Christ's kingdom be exalted through our charity, our time, and the Love that we show for each other. Good afternoon folks! I hope this week has been kind to everyone. Well tonight is testimony night and we have Tom from Woodland Oaks Church of Christ coming out to speak. Come out and support him while he tells us how Christ came in and redeemed him from a seemingly hopeless state. Food at 6:15pm and large group at 7. See everyone tonight!

So to recap our last lesson.. We admitted to God, to ourselves, and to another human being the exact nature of our wrongs.

But now is not the time to stop, settle down, and get lazy! Our recovery involves constant motion, constant activity.

Come join us as Mike brings the study on lesson 14: Ready!

Which is both Principle 5, Voluntarily submit to every change God wants to make in my life and humbly ask Him to remove my character defects. “Happy are those whose greatest desire is to do what God requires.” Matthew 5:6.

And Step 6: We were entirely ready to have God remove all those defects of character. “Humble yourselves before the Lord, and He will lift you up. “ James 4:10.
