On this Pentecost Sunday, the music of the Spirit filled our sanctuary as the St. Mark’s Chancel Choir offered a beautiful performance of I Will Pray For You by Mark Hayes, featuring soloist Annie Ferlisi.

Through word and song, we were reminded of the power of prayer, encouragement, and the presence of the Holy Spirit among God’s people. Thank you to our choir members, musicians, and Annie for sharing your gifts in worship today!

Today during worship, we celebrated a special milestone as two of our youth received their Bibles.

As they continue to grow in faith, we pray that God’s Word will guide, encourage, and inspire them throughout their lives. “Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.” — Psalm 119:105

We give thanks for these young people, their families, and our church community that walks alongside them in faith. Congratulations on this meaningful step in your journey with Christ! ✨

Painted with love!

25 dressers built for local kiddos and some of them even got custom makeovers. Thank you St. Mark's Lutheran.

From a sparkly space theme with glow-in-the-dark stars to a Pokémon-inspired dresser, each one was made with care and personality. Because of this amazing group, kids won’t just have a place to store their belongings. They’ll have something that brings them joy and helps make their room feel like their own, full of memories as they grow.

This is what we are talking about when we say we have the best community that always goes above and beyond for the families we serve.

This weekend, we rolled up our sleeves and got to work building dressers for Home Sweet Home. 🛠️

As Lutherans, we believe we are freed by God’s grace to love and serve our neighbor—and this was a beautiful example of faith in action. Each dresser we built is more than just furniture. It’s a fresh start, a reminder of dignity, and a sign that no one is alone.

We’re grateful for the many hands and willing hearts that came together to serve. Thank you to everyone who showed up to live out our calling.
