It was quite the Father’s Day.

Yesterday, the work God is doing in Malawi received a standing ovation at Grace Church St. Louis. Going into 15 years of ministry Jesus is still changing lives, and people are excited to see His Kingdom advancing.

All glory to the One who sits on the throne.

Getting ready to head back to Malawi in 2 weeks. We are filling as many giant suitcases as possible! 😄

Before we head back to Malawi, we’re looking for:

Boarding Hostel Construction Update

What began as a step of faith is becoming a reality. Thanks to the generosity and support of many of you, the boarding hostel is steadily taking shape.

We are moving closer to creating another place where girls can learn, grow, and thrive. Thank you for your continued support as we build a future worth hoping for.

This photo was taken from the stage at this year's banquet as we prayed over the Ruckel family. We are incredibly excited for the Ruckels to join WtS as missionaries to Malawi in May 2027.

They will play a key role in launching our second long-term trauma counseling safe home, and we can't wait to see all that God will do through this partnership.

Essy and I will be in the U.S. until June 24th, and we would love to connect with you. If you have questions about the ministry, would like to introduce us to a friend, or want to have us share with your church or small group, we would be grateful for the opportunity. Our hope is to continue building momentum toward this goal so we can complete the hostel before the end of the school term in July.

We’re excited to share that When the Saints has been accepted onto a new fundraising platform called GlobalGiving.

After nearly a decade of using DonorSee, we were saddened to see it close, but grateful for the opportunity it gave us to grow and connect with many of you. In exploring new options, GlobalGiving stood out as a strong and trusted platform that will allow us to continue sharing the needs and stories from the field.

We have just launched our first project! It would be an honor to have your continued partnership. This project is for $12,000 and will allow us to provide bed sheets, clothes, shoes, a backpack and sanitary products to all 98 girls that join our program over the next year. In Malawi, many young girls who experience abuse are left without support, protection, or hope. Through our safe home, we provide a full year of counseling and care, helping each girl heal from trauma and rebuild her life with dignity and purpose.
