We meet every Sunday at 4114 E. Oakland Ave. in Bloomington, IL at 10 AM, and we exist to live like Jesus lived, think like he thought, and do what he taught.

Compass is a church that is all about making God accessible to everyone. We know that God has direction for everyone's life and want to do everything we can to help point you the right way. At Compass, we have a passion to lead people into right relationship with God and with others, and we do everything we can to create environments where those connections can happen.

Would you vote for someone who wasn't a Christian? What if their character and the way they treated people looked more like Jesus than the Christian candidate?

Jesus said leaders should be servants. That gives Christians something important to consider when evaluating political leaders, regardless of someone's religious
identity.

That’s why Compass is partnering with Home Sweet Home Ministries and Midwest Food Bank through the Big Give. Together, we can help our neighbors share a Thanksgiving meal.

There's a difference between being concerned about what's happening in the world and allowing fear to determine how we treat people.

Jesus told us to love our neighbors. Even the ones we're afraid of. It's worth asking whether the political messages we consume are making that harder.

It's possible to grow up believing that your political views and your Christian faith are basically the same thing. But what happens when you start questioning that? Following Jesus sometimes means reconsidering beliefs you've held your entire life.
And that includes politics.
