As we celebrate this day with family, friends, and community, we remember that true greatness, freedom, and power are only found in Jesus. We give thanks for our nation, and we acknowledge that our hope is not rooted in circumstances or empires, but in Him.

Thank You, Jesus, for the enduring freedom You give because of Your life, death, and resurrection. On this day and always - may our lives reflect Your love as we strive to be more like You.

"Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom." -2 Corinthians 3:17

Our St. Louis team arrived in St. Louis yesterday! Here is the team enjoying an Ethiopian meal! Continue to pray for good weather and for good conversations to take place with many refugees and immigrants in St. Louis.

Juneteenth marks the day when, on June 19, 1865, 2 years after the Emancipation Proclamation, more than 250,000 enslaved people in the state of Texas finally learned of the executive decree declaring their freedom.

As Christ-followers, we celebrate the significance of Juneteenth.

May we follow the example of Jesus in seeking justice for the oppressed.
