MERGE, ISU’s Wesley Foundation is holding a benefit night at the Culver’s in Bloomington on Market Street on Tuesday, August 25th from 5-8pm. A percentage of all proceeds will go towards activities and future student events for MERGE. Grab some supper, or some ice cream and support MERGE.

Potluck after service. The Worship Committee will provide pulled pork.
Bring a bag chair or lawn chair for the service.
Bring a side dish to share, and your own table service.
If you’re not able to bring anything that is perfectly all right as well. There are benches and picnic tables. We just hope you’ll join us for a wonderful time of worship, food, and fellowship.

This book discussion will be at Normal First UMC 211 N. School Street Normal. All are welcome to attend and participate!

Highway of Tears: a true story of Racism, Indifference, and the Pursuit of Justice for Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women and Girls by Jessica McDiamid.
This story is a piercing exploration of our ongoing failure to provide justice for the victims and testament to their families and communities unwavering determination to find it.
This book is on the UWF reading list and there is a copy in the Church Library. Check local libraries for other copies. However, please attend if you have read the book or not.

Light refreshment will be served.
