Paws and Pages
--- Mondays: June 15, July 13, August 3
--- 1-3pm; Humane Society of Central Illinois
--- For Grades K-5
--- Registration required
This program will pair children in Grades K-5 with shelter animals to practice reading aloud.

During each session of Paws and Pages, there will be 8 time slots available for kids to meet and read to a shelter animal at the Humane Society of Central Illinois (423 Kays Drive, Normal). Mr. Cody will email those who register to assign them to a 10-minute time slot!

Registration for each session will open two weeks before the session meets. Registration can be completed online at bit.ly/bplpaws, by calling 309.590.6155, or by visiting the Children's Services Desk at the Library and registering in person.

This Juneteenth season, we want to reclaim and wrestle with the liberating message found in the life and teachings of Jesus. Not a comfortable or sanitized Gospel, but a Gospel that speaks to freedom, identity, resistance, justice, and transformation.
